Crowdfunding is raising funds for a specific purpose from a large number of people, usually via the Internet. Crowdfunding is now a multi-billion dollar industry and is also growing rapidly in the UK with emerging opportunities to secure funding from a range of sources for landscape projects.
The LI has published a Technical Information Note 04/15 on this subject, written for the LI by PJ Elements. It is hoped that this will be particularly useful for parks managers and landscape designers working with community groups.
