Product Data Templates (PDTs) are being developed as a resource for the building and construction industry to allow manufacturers and suppliers to provide their product information. The completed PDT will be returned as a Product Data Sheet (PDS) for use in BIM projects.
PDTs will provide a consistent and reliable format for receiving product specification data. making it easier for specifiers to compare products and project managers to use the data in their BIM project. The Landscape Institute BIM Working Group is leading on the creation of PDTs for the landscape sector. The following PDTs are now available for review.
We welcome your feedback on these PDTs and whether they:
• completely and adequately define all products that may be provided using the appropriate PDT
• are missing crucial data. If so, what
• have too much information. If so, what?
We will also be happy to hear from anyone interested in helping develop new templates.
