Help shape the next generation of chartered landscape architects.
As a supervisor, you will harness your extensive knowledge and talent to guide both candidates and mentors through the Pathway to Chartership development. You will consider candidate progress and how supportive comment is from their mentor, provide valuable feedback and demonstrate leadership.
Supervisors communicate with mentors and candidates through the Pathway online system. Contact time is over an estimated two week period once every three months. You are expected to have at least five years’ experience at CMLI level.
Supervisors make an important and valued contribution to the work of the Landscape Institute. In return supervisors can gain excellent CPD, and for those with an ambition to become a Fellow of the Landscape Institute, supervisor experience will strengthen your application. We will also pay supervisors £250 per quarter on the basis of a portfolio of 20 candidates, plus £400 annual development and retention fee.
