Artists and art lovers can enjoy street art from all over the world thanks to a new online database, Mural Locator.
An archive of public wall art, it locates and shares murals from destinations as near as London and as far as South Korea. The organisation aims to create a central location for people to research and find information about murals, providing the viewer with searchable maps of the different mural locations.
The site features interviews with the artists, such as Londoner Remi Rough, who is responsible for the fantastic mural at the Megaro Hotel in London’s Kings Cross. By nurturing and promoting the work of these talented individuals they hope to develop a community of street wall artists.
Murals can be easily submitted by members of the public, via the website. To see for yourself, visit murallocator.org
