UK Landscape Award wants you
There has been a great response from members to take part in this, with a recent meeting in Reading very well attended and more than 40 people signed up so far.
However, the LI would like more people to get involved in promoting the award that aims to illustrate the power of landscape to benefit the communities it is part of.
Entries for it will be accepted between 6 April and 27 August and the winner will be announced at the European Landscape Convention Conference, which takes place in Liverpool from 8-10 November.
Ambassadors will be asked to attend a training day and then help to organise events linked to the promotion and judging of the award. It’s a great opportunity to be involved with one of the most prestigious awards schemes for landscape in the UK.
There is further information about the benefits of becoming an ambassador on the new UK Landscape Awards website.
To register your interest in being an Ambassador, or if you have any queries, please contact Sabina Mohideen at the Landscape Institute.
