Bird from Bristol Zoo
Bristol Zoo provided an unusual backdrop to the day

Bristol Zoo provided an unusual backdrop to the day with talks enlivened by the occasional call of a flamingo or whoop of a gibbon.

The South West Branch capitalised on the location by organising an evening event with Paul Joliffe, associate director at Nicholas Pearson Associates, who had led the design of the Gorilla Island, Elephant Enclosure, Play Area and new Aviary project at the zoo.

The next LI CPD Day will be in Glasgow on 10 October and tickets go on sale on 9 July. As well as the CPD Day itself, an Olympic Learning Legacy Event will be held in the evening with delegates having the option to attend either or both events.
