Richard Summers is newly appointed Head of Planning at the Landscape Partnership
The Landscape Partnership, which specialises in spatial planning, urban design, landscape architecture, ecology and arboriculture, has announced the appointment of Richard Summers as its new Head of Planning.
He is a chartered town planner and leads the spatial planning consultancy within a broad multi-disciplinary practice. He is currently Senior Vice President of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) and will be President in 2011.
Summer’s career spans spatial planning and economic development in the public and private sectors in the UK and abroad over more than 40 years. He has worked in economic development consultancy since 1993 focusing on the interface with spatial planning and his present role in spatial planning consultancy focuses on the interface with environmental issues.
Summer’s work encompasses all elements of spatial planning, including environmental planning and economic development. He is based in the London and Woodbridge offices but works across the entire practice.
