Landscape will play an important part

Take part in events at London Festival of Architecture

A number of really exciting landscape-related events will form part of this year’s London Festival of Architecture.

On Saturday 11 June there will be a guided walk in Deptford on the subject ‘Communities of Migration in Deptford’.

On Tuesday 21 June there will be an event at the Grow:Store at New London Achitecture, investigating the crescent outside the building.

A debate called ‘Who builds community’ on Wednesday 22 June, will include contributions from Pam Warhurst, the community leader, activist and environmentalist who founded Incredible Edible Todmorden, and from LI President Noel Farrar. Labour London Assembly member Tom Copley will chair the debate, and the other speakers include Richard Upton from U+I, Dick van Gameren of Dutch landscape practice Mecanoo, and Ian Morrison from the Architectural Heritage Fund.

On Thursday 30 June, Davies White will share its experience of engaging communities in play, also at Grow: Store.

Find details of all events on the LI events page.
