The sustainable design showcase for London will be held in April
Taking place on 20-24 April 2015, Open City is currently seeking participants to join the programme.
The week’s events, it says, provide an opportunity for the industry ‘to spearhead innovative thinking and showcase actual delivery’.
The Green Sky Thinking Week ‘provides a unique platform to engage with professionals and stakeholders from different fields to develop a deeper understanding of how sustainability principles are being practically applied around London and the world’.
Now in its fifth year, and aimed at creating meaningful connections between industry professionals and stakeholders, the programme will focus on green infrastructure, health and well-being, data and digits and, energy. It is an avenue for understanding new technologies, policies and thinking and how they are being translated into practice.
Green Sky Thinking Week in the past has comprised more than 50 events spread across five days, hosted and sponsored by more than 65 cross-disciplinary specialists and authorities including architects, developers, contractors and city authorities.
Open City says it already has 40+ ‘industry leaders’ on board for this year’s event, including Mace, Crown Estates, Buro Happold, Crossrail, Argent, ECD Architects, Team London Bridge and the London Borough of Hackney.
Participation in Green Sky Thinking Week is near capacity, and will close soon. Find out more here.
