Bookings and registration are now open for BIG LANDSCAPE 2020, the SLIC, Student Landscape Institute Council, Summer Conference

As the government prepares to invest more than £400bn in major infrastructure projects including HS2, the renewal of nuclear power stations and the creation of renewable energy plants, BIG LANDSCAPE 2020 looks to the future for landscape schemes and for today’s students who as tomorrow’s professionals will be shaping the future.

The conference will commence on Friday evening with a seminar and reception open to all LI members, the programme on Saturday looks at a wide range of themes affecting students over the next twenty years. Sunday is devoted to a street-wide event in conjunction with Living Streets.

The conference will be held at the LI’s conference centre in Charles Darwin House, London and will run from the evening of Friday July 1 to Sunday 3 2011.

Tickets for the student conference cost £24. With only 100 places available tickets are sure to go fast so please book your place ASAP to avoid disappointment.
