Sheffield hosts free conference on green and open spaces

The University of Sheffield’s Department of Landscape is hosting a free conference for academics, practitioners and interest groups. Organised by the Place Keeping Group, ‘Our green and open space: who owns, who manages, who cares?’ takes place on 17-18 June.

The aim of the conference is to bring together various parties to explore issues around the UK’s green and open spaces. Speakers including Graham Duxbury, from Groundwork UK; Deryck Irving, from Greenspace Scotland; Jenny Coleman, from Incredible Edible; and Birmingham City Council’s Darren Share.
