Colin Moore CMLI will present events in London and Leeds

Seminars will explain changes to CDM regulations

Subject to parliamentary approval, substantially revised CDM (construction design and management) regulations will come into force on 6 April 2015. Lead designers of projects will be particularly affected because the client must now appoint the ‘designer with control over the pre-construction phase’ as principal designer, with a role similar to that of the ‘CDM coordinator’ under CDM 2007.

These seminars will explore the differences between the 2015 and 2007 regulations, and will examine the duties of the parties in the new regulations, and the implications for landscape architects.

The first event takes place in Leeds on 15 April, and the second in London on 5 May. Furrther dates and regional locations will be confirmed at a later date. More information can be found on our website, or join in the discussion on Talking Landscape.
