Former head of CABE Space will run Remarkable Cities programme
Sarah Gaventa has joined Beyond Green, the sustainable developer and consultant, where she will be the design director and curator of the Remarkable Cities programme.
Gaventa previously worked as the director of CABE space and then as an associate at Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners. She will join Beyond Green in July, leading its collaborations with clients including developers and cities on place-making projects as well as curating its new Programme for Leadership Development to be held annually at Pembroke College, Cambridge.
Gaventa said, ‘I am delighted to be joining Beyond Green to expand their place-making projects at a time when creating great spaces and neighbourhoods is becoming more important than ever’.
Beyond Green Chairman, Jonathan Smales, added, ‘We’re very pleased to have someone of Sarah’s calibre and experience joining the group; as well as the Remarkable Cities programmes she will also work closely with our Danish partners in public-realm design, Schulze+Grassov, and contribute to the quality of design on our growing portfolio of development projects.’
