The Landscape Institute is looking for chartered members who would be interested in joining its team of Pathway Examiners.

Put yourself to the test

Would you like to help support the next generation of CMLIs, meet other professionals from across the country and develop your own CPD?

As a Pathway Examiner you will need to commit to examining on at least one day each year in either London or Manchester, and attend an annual training session (usually held the evening before the exams for your convenience). You will be given full training, including the opportunity to observe experienced examiners at work.

To be eligible to become a Pathway Examiner, you will need to have been involved with the Pathway as a mentor or supervisor for a minimum of six months since 2007. You must also hold CMLI or FLI status and have been chartered for at least five years. The role is voluntary, but you will be reimbursed for your travel expenses and overnight accommodation will be provided where necessary, in line with the LI’s expenses policy.

Catherine Lester from Taylor Young became a Pathway Examiner this year. To read more about her experiences of joining the team, click here.

Application forms should be emailed to pathway@landscapeinstitute.org with your CV by 31 January 2012.

If you would like to talk further about the examiner role before you apply, please email pathway@landscapeinstitute.org or call 020 7685 2655 and ask to speak to Alex Byrne.
