The National Heritage Memorial Fund (NHMF) and Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) are looking for four trustees to join the NHMF/HLF board
The HLF is also recruiting 13 committee members to join seven committees across England.
Both positions offer an opportunity to help shape the future of the UK’s wide-ranging heritage and each organisation is looking for people from a wide variety of backgrounds.
Applicants must have a broad appreciation of heritage and a commitment to promoting public understanding and enjoyment of it to the widest possible audience. Strong skills in leadership, analytical thinking and communication are also required.
NHMF/HLF trustee Kathryn Gee, who will be standing down from the board next year said of the role: “It has been a wonderful experience to do work which I really believe in, for such a well-run organisation. The people are passionate, the schemes outstanding and the unparalleled access to heritage is an absolute honour. It has been hard work, but I shall miss it very much.”
