Two new Fellows have been elected and the deadline is fast approaching for the next round of applications.
The Landscape institute is delighted to announce the election of two new Fellows, Lindsey Wilkinson and Rachel Tennant.
Lindsey Wilkinson has demonstrated her specialised knowledge and skills in the field of greenspace, leading her to become an expert in her field and bringing this knowledge to bear across many projects. She has been extensively involved with the Pathway to Chartership and in turn taken on the roles of mentor, supervisor, and examiner as well as supporting many candidates and less experienced staff in developing their careers, holding multiple workshops around the UK.
Rachel Tennant has been heavily involved in expansion into the Far East. She has lectured in Hong Kong and her professional practice course and publications in the UK are well known. She has consulted extensively with Technical Committee on past and current publications. Tennant is currently the Scottish Branch representative on Council and runs her own practice with one other director.
Fellowship and Academic Fellowship of the Landscape Institute celebrates senior and influential members, recognising their talent, expertise and particular contribution to landscape architecture.
‘It’s the profession’s way of celebrating the best – the achievements of those who have really made a difference through their contribution to practice, knowledge or research, leadership or the development of the support of others,’ explains John Stuart-Murray, Chair of the Fellowship Admissions Board, which considers applications on an annual cycle.
Applications can be submitted at any time and will be considered by the Fellowship Admissions Board biannually. Application deadlines are 1 March and 1 September.
