The Urban Design Group’s National Conference on Urban Design, which takes place at Nottingham Trent University on 18-20 September, will address ‘the latest in the design and development of cities, towns, streets and neighbourhoods both in the UK and internationally’.
Urban Design For All: Towards a Life Less Ordinary promises to explore ‘the crucial importance of multi-disciplinary working in the built environment’ and how the various players – urban designers, architects, landscape architects, planners, engineers, developers, politicians and communities – can all work together effectively to create better places in which to live.
LI past president Sue Illman will chair one of the morning workshop sessions, and LI members are invited to attend the conference at Urban Design Group member rates, by quoting ‘CodeLI’ when asked for delegate name.
See the Urban Design website for more details.
