The government has commissioned a new questionnaire for business owners

MPs to help SMEs

The government is addressing the health of the country’s small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and is calling on business owners to help by filling in a short questionnaire.

It wants SMEs to win a greater share of government business and hopes to ensure smaller firms are able to compete fairly with bigger companies for key contracts.

The main purpose of the questionnaire is to better understand SMEs’ views on the Frameworks run by the Government Procurement Service (GPS). For more information on GPS and Frameworks, visit the GPS website. For the latest tender information, follow: @smecrownrep on Twitter.
