LI President will give oral evidence on 14 November
Merrick Denton-Thompson, President of the LI, is to be a witness at the next hearing of the Communities and Local Government’s Committee inquiry into the future of public parks.
He will be one of a number of witnesses giving oral evidence on 14 November, alongside representatives of local councils, The Gardens Trust, the Town and Country Planning Association and the Royal Town Planning Institute.
The Landscape Institute has already submitted a written response to the committee’s inquiry, calling for a vision for parks as dynamic, rich and multi-cultural spaces. Read the executive summary here.
