Groundwork’s Senior Landscape Architect Julia gives us the inside view of mentoring Pathway to Chartership candidates

The independent built environment charity is offering young Londoners aged 12-18 the chance to take part in free out-of-school creative workshops over four-days (2–5 August) to explore architecture, planning and engineering, located in the Ambika P3 space at University of Westminster’s Architecture School.

As a result, volunteers are needed to work with the young people, leading or supporting activities such as building explorations, drawing, designing, planning and model-making to create a massive 3D model of designs for a new urban quarter.

Open-City is asking for a minimum commitment of one session, during 2-5 August, Session times are: 10am-1pm; 1pm-3pm; 3pm-4.30pm

There will be an evening training session prior to the event on Thursday 29 July 6-7pm, and an early evening Celebration Reception on the final day of the programme (5 August).

If you would like to get involved or find out more, please email Ros Croker by 16 July.
