One-day event aimed at those who need to know more about plants

Making Plants Work conference

Making Plants Work is a one-day conference for those individuals for whom 'an understanding and appreciation of plants is vital'.

Arranged jointly by Writtle College and Landscape Institute East of England, the event takes place at Writtle College, Chelmsford, on Friday 21 November.

Aimed at landscape architects, designers, managers, suppliers and contractors, it will focus on raising awareness, 'exploring the facts….and dispelling the myths on a range of plant-related topics'.

LI president Noel Farrer will be among the speakers, as will Chelsea Gold Medal-winning garden designer Tom Hoblyn, the RSPB’s Adrian Thomas, and Ben Spurden, of landscape architecture practice Liz Lake Associates.
