Sue Sharland has joined LUC (Land Use Consultants) as a non-executive director.
Sharland recently retired as chief executive of TRL (the Transport Research Laboratory), and is currently vice-president of the Chartered Institution of Highways of Transportation, chairing its Membership and Skills Strategy Board.
She is also a non-executive director of HR Wallingford Group and CEFAS (the Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquacultural Sciences), an agency of DEFRA.
With 20 years’ experience leading expert consultancy across a wide range of industries including energy, aviation and oil and gas, Sharland is expected ‘to help LUC to consolidate its position in the market and develop its offer of quality services’.
