Panel members will meet up to four times per year to assess candidates based on their significant experience, demonstrable expertise, and leadership qualities
The Landscape Institute (LI) is currently seeking up to six Chartered or Fellow members to form a new panel.
As the professional body for the landscape sector, the LI must continually reflect the changing needs of landscape practitioners. In addition to awarding professional recognition to landscape architects, the LI recognises the need to welcome more practitioners who work across the breadth of landscape fields.
Members of this new panel will help us reflect new and emerging areas of practice, and attract, include and support professionals from wider and more diverse backgrounds – helping our profession remain trusted, relevant and successful, today and in the future.
About the new Membership Assessment Panel
Established by the LI Board of Trustees, the Panel will convene between three and four times per year to assess electronic applications for LI membership.
Initially, this will entail assessing candidates who have been directly approved and invited by the Board based on their significant experience (usually 10 or more years), demonstrable expertise in distinct disciplines, and their leadership qualities. Our aim is to review, create and introduce routes for experienced practitioners, as part of the introduction of new LI entry standards.
Applications close at 11:59pm on Tuesday 8 September 2020. For full details of the role and how to apply, visit jobs.landscapeinstitute.org.
