Read on for details of changes to LI library services

LI library services have changed

Here’s an update on library services that are now available to members following the LI’s move to new offices:

Library books
All books on the Pathway reading list continue to be available for loan as before. British Standards are also still available. To borrow books (maximum of two at a time) simply email the details to Lesley Malone along with your LI membership number and the address to send books to.  The rest of the library book collection is currently in offsite storage and not available for general loan. Books may be loaned from storage if they are unavailable through any other means, but retrieval and delivery charges will apply.

Copies of articles from the LI’s journals (Landscape, Landscape Design, Vista and older titles) can still be supplied. All other journals are in offsite storage and again are available only in exceptional circumstances, in which case retrieval and delivery charges will apply.

The main drawings collections from the LI archive are now housed at the Garden Museum and can be accessed by LI members. Please contact the Garden Museum to make an appointment to visit – a week’s advance notice will normally be required.

Library catalogue

The library catalogue will continue to be available to search online here, but there will no longer be a facility for reservations and managing loans. Book requests should be emailed direct to Lesley Malone instead of submitted via your library account.

If you have any queries about library services, or need advice on information resources email Lesley Malone.
