LI President Jane Findlay has issued a rallying call for members to have their say in the 2021 Landscape Institute elections.

Every two years, we get the chance to elect the Board and Council members who will decide on the direction of travel for the landscape profession. With just one week to go until polls close, I want to urge you all to have your say!

The weird world of COVID lockdown is slowly returning to something resembling normality. That normality for us is an exciting and crucial turning point in our Institute’s history.

We have the knowledge, the creativity, and the passion to step up and answer the biggest challenges of our time: climate change; biodiversity loss; human health and wellbeing; and fighting to build back greener from the pandemic.

With the release of our five-year corporate strategy in 2018, we made a promise to our members. We promised to make our Institute into the agile, forward-looking organisation we need to be to meet these challenges.

Our candidates have all outlined their vision for how they want to do this. Now it’s your turn to decide who will lead us through the final stages of our transformation.

This is your Institute. And now is your chance to let us know how you want it run.
