Deadline for submitting videos is 6 February
The deadline to submits videos on ideas about preventing and dealing with flooding is approaching, with all films due fo submission by 6 February.
Participants are asked to explain their ideas on how to prevent and deal with flooding on video. Eight films will be shortlisted and the top four videos will be awarded the following prizes:
First Prize: £2,000
Second Prize: £1,000
Runners up x 2: £500.
The LI is running the competition in association with the Royal Institute of British Architects, Institution of Civil Engineers, Chartered Institute of Water and Environmental Management, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the Building Centre and Royal Town Planning Institute.
NB Entrants do not need special equipment to enter this competition. Videos can be made on iPhones and GoPros etc.
