Landscape policy and implementation in Scotland: fifty years on

A major national conference, ‘Landscape Policy and Implementation in Scotland “Fifty Years On”’ will be held in Perth, Scotland on 27 and 28 November. The 2012 conference will consider the past, present and future implications of human activities on Scotland’s greatest asset, its landscape.

Delegates will debate key issues and give consideration to the actions needed to secure the landscapes for the future. The conference’s objective is to shape policy and future actions for the enhancement of Scotland’s landscape.

Practitioners and professionals from government, NGOs and industry; landowners, farmers, foresters, students, the public and all those committed to Scotland’s landscape heritage are expected to participate in the debate on managing Scotland’s future landscapes.
