Submissions to the Landscape Institute (LI) Awards 2025 will close on 30 April.
The LI Awards represents the pinnacle of the landscape profession and a highlight of the industry events calendar. It showcases the very best in landscape planning, design, management and research in the UK and internationally.
The theme for this year’s Awards is ‘connecting people, place nature’. This theme highlights the vital role of landscape professionals in fostering sustainable, inclusive, and resilient environments.
Through this year’s Awards, we will recognise projects that embody this vision, with all Awards judged by the design panel across four key criteria: design, sustainability, value, and professionalism.

There are opportunities to enter for both LI members and non-members across the 17 categories, with six open categories (any individual, organisation, employer, government, local authority or university around the world), nine professional categories (for landscape professionals of all disciplines, and two student categories (open to students of courses accredited by the LI)he President’s Award is chosen from these and represents the best overall landscape project.
The finalists will be revealed in August, before winners are announced and presented with their awards at the ceremony, which will take place on Friday 14 November 2025 at the Brewery in London.
The LI Awards ceremony is one of the biggest and most prestigious industry events, gathering leaders from across the built and natural environment to celebrate people, place and nature, and the myriad ways that landscape projects connect them.
