Entries are now open for the 2017 Landezine International Landscape Award (LILA).

The award is for landscape architecture practices displaying experimentation, innovation, design excellence, and social and environmental relevance. Entrants can submit between three and five projects, one of which must be built. 2016 entrants will automatically be reregistered, though may update their entries if they wish.

Alongside the best practice (‘office’) award this year will be categories for best project, particularly publicly accessible urban design, and best product. Longlisted entries will also be put to public vote for the additional ‘people’s choice’ award.

Last year’s inaugural award was won by the Catalan practice EMF-Estudi Martí Franch, who will join this year’s jury.

Deadline for entries is 26 May. Longlists will be published for public vote in early June, with the winners announced on 5 September. Find out more and enter at landezine-award.com.
