LAE puts focus on playgrounds for latest volume
Landscape professionals are invited to send submissions for Landscape Architecture Europe’s fifth triennial yearbook on European practice.
As a foundation, LAE seeks to ‘enhance the dialogue in landscape architecture’, providing a ‘definitive critical review’ of landscape architecture in Europe. Featuring in the LAE yearbook is a prestigious accolade, and in the current political climate, offers UK-based practices a valuable opportunity to promote their contribution to landscape on a European level.
The fifth volume will focus in particular on playgrounds and creative spaces of any size. LAE seeks schemes ‘that are redefining the playground and the scope of the creative practice where society, politics, ecology and economy meet, at micro or macro scale, whether long-term or ephemeral’. Landscape research work and strategic projects are also welcomed.
Eligible projects should have been designed, developed or completed between 1 January 2014 and 31 December 2016. Full terms and conditions can be found at www.landscapearchitectureeurope.com.
