Award for masterplan and recognition for Argent’s Roger Madelin
King’s Cross Central, masterplanned by architects Allies and Morrison and Porphyrios Associates with Townshend Landscape Architecture, is the overall winner of this year’s New London Architecture Awards.
The project won the masterplans and areas strategies category, and then beat the winners of 14 other categories to take the top prize. Roger Madelin, joint CEO of Argent, was recognised as ‘New Londoner of the year’ at the awards.
The prize for public spaces went to LUC and erect architecture for the Tumbling Bay Play and Timber Lodge at the QEII Olympic Park.
