Practice hits its half century in the same year
HLM has celebrated its 15th year in Northern Ireland, in the same year that the practice turns 50.
HLM has grown significantly in Northern Ireland within the last year and now employs 15 people. Major projects secured in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland include two projects for the National Paediatric Hospital Development Board in Dublin, the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service Logistics Support Centre in Belfast and ongoing projects with the Western Health & Social Care Trust.
The Northern Ireland office is one of six HLM offices across the UK. The practice has an additional two offices overseas.
The practice has also announced that Jonathan Assorto-McIlwaine, a chartered landscape architect, has re-joined HLM in the Belfast landscape and urban-design team. After his previous stint at the practice Jonathan spent two years at landscape architect fabrik in England. He will take a leading role on projects for HLM’s public and private sector clients.
The practice celebrated its anniversary with a party on the SS Nomadic in Belfast’s Titanic Quarter.
