Help shape LCA guidance
The two organisations are revising the Landscape Character Assessment (LCA) Guidance for England and Scotland (2002) and related Topic Papers.
Land Use Consultants have been appointed to undertake the review and prepare the new guidance.
The guidance will be updated to reflect its current use, good practice, and the European Landscape Convention (ELC). It will include new topics and additional related guidance that may be needed. The guidance will be used to promote the increased use of landscape character assessment in the planning, protection and management of our environment.
The questionnaire provides an opportunity for landscape architects to help shape the structure, content and format of the new LCA guidance.
It will take no more than 10 minutes and responses should be based on your involvement in LCA in England and Scotland. It will be available until 3 December.
