Help needed to expand our knowledge
The Knowledge Base will bring together online documents, journal articles, websites, LI publications and FAQs on a wide range of technical issues into one online searchable resource.
But before it becomes fully operational, Lesley Malone, head of library and information services, wants members to try the service to see if it works well and the material is relevant.
“I would welcome any feedback on Knowledge Base,” said Lesley. “It’s a work in progress, but it will provide an idea of how the database will operate and the sort of material it will contain. Plus, any ideas for new material to go into the database will be very helpful.”
Currently there are 70 items that have been inputted to allow testing, but many more will soon be added. To access the Knowledge Base, log into the members’ area of the LI website then paste https://www.landscapeinstitute.org/members/knowledgebase/index.php into your browser window.
Members are encouraged to email recommendations for improvements to Lesley. The deadline for feedback is Friday, 23 October.
