Green infrastructure publication opportunity
The Landscape Institute published its first position statement on green infrastructure in 2009. It has been well received and we will publish an updated edition in autumn 2012 which will take into account new evidence in support of investment in green infrastructure, together with policy changes implemented since the original position statement was published. We want to ensure that the argument for green infrastructure is made effectively through clear recommendations, images, relevant case studies and graphics which aid understanding of the concept. We also want to equip LI members and supporters with the means of arguing the case for GI to their colleagues, clients, employers and the decision-makers, for whom they may work.
The LI is planning to appoint a writer for the new edition. If you have a high standard of written English; experience of writing for policy makers; knowledge of landscape architecture and its relationship with other built environment disciplines; an understanding of current and emerging policy, regulations and initiatives on green infrastructure; and a proven ability to copy edit and proof read accurately, download the brief here.
