The panel keeps a watching brief on GLVIA
Volunteers are asked to apply to join the LI's GLVIA Panel, following the suggestion that it should be enlarged by the appointment of at least one and possibly two representatives from the public sector. The application requirements have yet to be finalised but if you are interested in being included in a shortlist (business is often conducted by teleconference but travel expenses are paid) then please contact SimonO@landscapeinstitute.org by 23 March.
The panel keeps a watching brief on GLVIA. It has concluded that GLVIA3 is an improvement on GLVIA2 and has been welcomed by many, including members of the legal profession, for: advocating the proportionate approach; placing emphasis on identifying significance; the structured nature of the guidance; the consistency in methodology; and its emphasis on transparency in judgments.
