Italian architecture practice Massimiliano & Doriana Fuksas Design has won a competition to reunite the Italian city of Bari across the railway line
The project, dubbed ‘Italy’s High Line’, will create a linear park above the railway line that separates the historic town from the new city.
Covering an area of 78ha, the development, which is in seven sections, will create new recreational spaces in an elevated park, designed to be as sustainable as possible.
The international competition attracted at total of 105 entries.
