Do you know someone who deserves special recognition for their contribution to the profession?
From this month, the LI is inviting members to nominate for Fellowship or Academic Fellowship those who have made a real difference to landscape architecture.
Fellowship and Academic Fellowship of the LI are conferred on senior members of the professional and academic communities, recognising their talent, expertise and outstanding contribution to the profession.
“Its very much an accolade from the profession, awarded by the profession. It is about those who are leaders, innovators and ambassadors – people who have made a significant contribution through their work in practice or in developing and promoting landscape architecture”, says Sue Beard, Director of Education and Membership.
Under the new nominations procedure, members will be able to put forward for fellowship those who in their opinion meet the criteria.
“We will then send out an application pack to the person nominated, and it will of course be up to them whether they wish to apply, and when.”
Applications will be considered by the LI’s Fellowship Board. For further information about fellowship and academic fellowship, and to download a nominations form, please click here.
