The Landscape Institute’s Education and Membership Committee is looking for two new members
The LI’s Education and Membership Committee develops policy and provide expertise and advice on all issues regarding the education and continuing professional development (CPD) of landscape architects and on the standards of entry for the LI’s membership grades, in support of the Institute’s objectives and development plan.
The positions will be suitable for chartered Members or Fellows who are currently in practice, are able to demonstrate a sound understanding of UK education and the LI’s systems for education, development and progression through the membership, and have recent experience of one or more of the following
- Pathway examining, supervision or mentoring
- Participation in a Professional Review Group
- Lecturing or acting as an external examiner in higher education
You will need to be committed to making an active contribution to the committee, attending 3-4 meetings a year, and to undertaking project work and research as may be required from time to time.
