Winner will help shape masterplan
In collaboration with Merton Council, Love Wimbledon BID and NLA (New London Architecture), CABE at the Design Council has launched FutureWimbledon, an open competition to envisage what Wimbledon town centre could look like in the next 15 years and contribute to a masterplan that will shape the town’s future.
There are two categories: rising stars in the built environment profession; and, community creatives which is open to local people, businesses and creative thinkers everywhere to contribute to the debate. The prize for the rising star(s) includes an appointment as design champion(s) to Love Wimbledon BID and futureMerton for the masterplanning process. The judging panel includes Paul Finch, Peter Murray, Wayne Hemingway, Alison Brooks and Morag Myerscough.
