Kent Architecture Centre is calling for applications from built environment professionals to join its new Regional Design Panel.

Deadline approaches for applications for Berkshire and SE Regional Design Panels

The third branch of the Regional Design Panel in Berkshire will be launched in June 2012 and will cover five of the six local authorities in the county – Bracknell Forest, Reading, Slough, Wokingham, and Windsor & Maidenhead Councils. The Panel will review a wide range of development proposals, from large town centre sites and urban extensions to sensitive rural development.In the case of Windsor and Maidenhead, the new panel will work alongside an existing local panel which will deal with smaller scale developments.

Kent Architecture Centre is inviting applications from urban designers, town planners, architects, landscape architects, developers, engineers and others with a commitment to design quality and a talent for critical appraisal.

New panel members needed for South East Regional Design Panel
The South East Regional Design Panel was established by Kent Architecture Centre and SEEDA in 2002 and is the longest running Regional Panel in England, reviewing over 400 schemes.

The South East Panel is one of eight regional panels affiliated to Design Council Cabe. Kent Archicture Centre are recruiting for new panel members and are especially keen to strengthen the panel’s skills in climate change, economic development, access and diversity.

Applications are welcome from people working in urban design, architecture, planning, engineering and landscape architecture.
