Closing date looms for Barrow public realm competition

Part of the regeneration of the port area of the northwestern town of Barrow-in-Furness, the project has funding from the Homes and Communities Agency’s Clusters of Empty Homes Fund. Entrants will need to address a tarmac-covered central courtyard currently used for car parking, two grassy squares that adjoin residential areas, and the adjacent streetscape.
