Top award goes to Coleraine-based landscape practice

Castle Hill events space, County Tyrone, by GM Design Associates

The Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT) has announced its 2016 award winners.

Coleraine-based GM Design Associates won the Award for Excellence in Architectural Technology for the Castle Hill events space in Dungannon, County Tyrone. Brian Davies and Mark Davies of Arc Design won the Alan King Award for projects under £750,000 for a private house in County Wicklow.

Gold awards for dedicated service to the CIAT were given to Robert Howard Kay (Northern Ireland), Paul Stephen Greenwood (Lancashire) and Graham Christie Bruce (Scotland East).
