Related websites and partner organisations invited to help develop new audiences
Relevant organisations and websites are invited to take part in next year’s Capability Brown Festival 2016, celebrating 300 years of the landscape designer’s birth.
In order to develop new audiences, the festival would like to team up with related organisations interested in running small, targetted projects that will use innovative ways to bring new visitors to the work of Capability Brown.
Grants of £500–£5,000 are available to cover project costs such as volunteer support, sustainable transport costs, materials and supplies, artists or performers, historical interpreters or event delivery, health and safety, design and printing, refreshments and equipment.
Further information and Audience Development Expression of Interest forms are available here. Applications should be emailed back to firstname.lastname@example.org by midday on 23 October. For further advice or to check eligibility, call Melissa Tettey on 020 7685 2663.
The Capability Brown Festival is managed by the Landscape Institute on behalf of the Festival Partnership and is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. It will be a nationwide celebration encouraging a more diverse audience to visit, learn about and enjoy Brown’s landscapes through a year-long programme of open days, talks, events, conferences, research and other activites.
