National environmental charity seeks two trustees
The Campaign for National Parks (CNP) is seeking ‘two individuals with commitment and passion’ to join its trustee board.
The independent ‘voice for the English and Welsh National Parks’, is looking for an individual with experience in communications and marketing, for example in the fields of fundraising, journalism and/or politics, ‘to help steer our plans to raise awareness with external audiences and to develop the charity’s fundraising capacity’.
It is also looking for a strategic thinker with a strong background in conservation of the environment, particularly protected landscapes, to help it develop and champion its ideas for the future of National Parks and, 'most importantly' to help CNP ‘inspire everyone to look after and enjoy national parks’.
Experience within the voluntary sector and of campaigning would be an advantage for both posts. All trustee positions are non-executive and voluntary, and therefore not remunerated.

Closing date for applications is Friday 29 August 2014. Interviews will be on Thursday 11 September 2014.
