Sessions will be at Resilience14 event in November
BRE has announced the first details of its core seminar programme for the Resilience14 exhibition, taking flood resilience as a key theme.
This programme will highlight the latest thinking on flood issues, through an international selection of expert speakers from government, academia and the commercial sector.
The sessions will cover:
• Incentivising flood resilient behaviour
• Flood resilient construction
• Flood resilience – what can the UK learn from other countries
• Flood insurance for property and resilience.
A panel debate will give speakers, invited panellists and members of the audience the opportunity to explore and exchange views on one of the key issues facing Britain's built environment.
Resilience14 will take place at Olympia London on 26-27 November. It is a two-day, content driven conference and exhibition, showcasing the technologies and solutions that can protect and mitigate against flooding, storms and extreme temperatures. The aim is to provide visitors with an understanding of resilience in the context of insurance and risk, design and build, health and wellbeing and repair, rebuild and rehabilitation of the built environment.
Visitors to Resilience14 can register for free admission to the conference and exhibition at www.resilience14.com.
