Hear James Corner speak on 22 October

Book your place for the Jellicoe-MERL lecture

The designer of the High Line, James Corner, is to give this year's Jellicoe Lecture, which will take place on 22nd October 2015.

Booking is now open. Tickets are free but places are limited.

Renowned for his work on the High Line and the South Park at the Olympic Park, the UK-born designer is the founder of James Corner Field Operations, based in New York City.

Corner will speak after the LI's AGM on 22nd October, at the University of Reading. The University holds the Landscape Institute archive within MERL, the Museum of English Rural Life.

This year’s lecture will be given jointly with the University of Reading as the Jellicoe – MERL Lecture and will take place in the Great Hall at the University.

Landscape Institute members are also invited to free behind the scenes tours of the Institute's archive at MERL. The tours will be conducted by MERL staff and will run from 3-4 pm, in advance of the AGM.
