BIM level self-assessment
To help remove some of the fog that surrounds BIM and the various ‘levels’ that are often talked about, the LI has created a simple spreadsheet for you to self-assess you and your company to see where you are in terms of ‘BIM maturity’.
This is not a definitive guide, but should give some general advice on how you can compete in the BIM arena.
The way in which your company addresses BIM is a matter for you and your colleagues, but there are some standard processes that need to happen. None of them are particularly difficult if they are approached in a thought-through and methodical way. The aim of this self-assessment is to help you start to formulate your approach.
You can download the spreadsheet here.
