Landscape Institute president Sue Illman will launch an animation on water-sensitive urban design on Friday 26 July.
Open to all Landscape Institute members, the event, which will be held at the Garden Museum in London, will be part of the student conference, entitled ‘Generation H20’, which focuses on water-sensitive design.
The animation has been made by Room 60 and is based on work led by CIRIA and delivered by Arup and AECOM with support from the Landscape Institute. It explains the concept of using water at the heart of design and argues the case.
Tickets for the event, which starts at 6.30 pm, include full access to the Garden Museum, the presentation and a drinks and bagels reception afterwards. There will be a cash bar.
