'Green infrastructure has been fully integrated into thinking about health - for patients, visitors, staff and the wider community. The scheme has been designed both to help patients get better and to prevent ill health - encouraging physical activity and emotional wellbeing. Landscape and nature have been an integral part of the redevelopment and the imaginative thinking about what a hospital should be. There are lessons here for the whole NHS.'
